It is possible to specify a fossil fill dispatch schedule that results in the energy to the power block being greater than the energy from the solar field over a year. The extra energy comes from natural gas burned by the backup boiler.

Its a system with no auxiliary back up boiler.
Also, the heat loss diagram are for the first year of operation. Correct.?
Basically, with a solar multiple of 2.5, MS PT plant, with no auxiliary boiler, it shows The Energy to the Power Block more compared to the Energy Output from Solar field. This is soemthing which I am not able to understand the logic. And the same system with a solar multiple of 3.5 has energy from power block less than energy output from the solar field.
Is it some kind of bug.? or is this justified.?

I can't be sure what is causing that without seeing your file. Would you mind attaching it to a reply? We have fixed a few issues with the energy loss diagram in the Beta version.
