API for SAM

Hi Team, Could you please help me with the below:I've downloaded SAM on MAC, I've checked the functionalities. I would like to know how we can Integrate SAM API in our system to do all the calculations and give us the Production with Shading. 

We should be able to input the module, Inverter, System Design & Shading values and get the Output for Production from the API. 

I tried to understand the API, But I didn't get the exact documentation for the API.

If you could please help me with this, That would be really great.
