SAM Beta

Hello Paul,

I downloaded the beta version to make some simulations for dish stirling systems. But when i try to upload the TMY3 datasets for my country which i have been using with the old versions of SAM, software is closed. I tired this with windows 8 and Mac OS, but the result is both the same. And also i could not understand why i cannot see SES and WGA systems on new release. Could you help please?

Thank you for the feedback. I was not able to replicate this issue, but suspect it is one we have fixed since we released the Beta version. If you don't mind, could you follow those steps again and save the file (.sam) and send me a copy for testing to sam dot support at nrel dot gov?

We fixed the issue with the thousands separator character (comma or period) in the September 30 Beta release, and made some changes to the weather file reader that should address the issue you describe about TM2 format files.

If you have time, could you install the Beta version and let us know if you continue to have the problem?
