Battery Replacement Cost was created by inreco
In the spreadsheet the Battery Replacement line item is zero. Where in SAM do I change that to actual dollar amounts.

Hello,
For configurations with battery storage, you can set the battery replacement cost in $/kWhdc of battery capacity on the Operating Costs input page.
Best regards,
Paul.

so after doing that it puts in it's cost which is 1/4 the actual cost. Can I enter the actual cost anywhere?

Hello,
The battery replacement cost on the Operating Costs input page is in $/kWhdc of battery storage capacity, which is shown at the top of the "Battery" column on that page.
For example, for this residential battery, the battery replacement cost would be 434 $/kWhdc * 12.5 kWh dc = $54,300 in Year 1 dollars. SAM applies the inflation rate from the Financial Parameters page to calculate the cost in the replacement year.
Best regards,
Paul.
