Hello,
As mentioned in the Help topic, SAM's wave energy model is designed to work with the NREL Hindcast data ( developer.nrel.gov/docs/wave/hindcast/ ), which contains one year of data in three-hour time steps. The model should work with one year of hourly data as well.
Best regards,
Paul.

I have condensed my data to have it in the same format as the example used in SAM; I am still unable to load; please take a look and let me know what I am missing.
Thank you

Hello,
The column headings for the wave data should be "Significant Wave Height" and "Energy Period." The headings in your file are "Max of Significant Wave Height" and "Max of Energy Period."
The wave model requires either three-hour data (2920 rows) or hourly data (8760 rows) for one year.
Best regards,
Paul.

So, I have made the changes you suggested, and they are still not working ( I have about 9407 rows for 1 year). There must be something that I am missing. Can you please advise? See the attached file and snippet of SAM.
