POA Irradiance file is not readable by SAM was created by Fernando Bustos
Hi,
I have my own POA irradiance data from our PV bifacial system. It's in 15-minute resolution and I have tried several times to upload the file but SAM says that it's not able to get the timestap in the weather file. I have to clarify I have the POA irradiance from a reference cell and also temperature. What should I do?

Hello,
SAM requires a weather file with irradiance data and meteorological data. Your file only has irradiance data, so it will not work with SAM.
One option would be to download a weather file from the NREL NSRDB for the year (and time step) that matches your POA data, and then add your data to the file as a column with the heading "poa."
You can find a description of SAM's CSV format for Solar in Help under "Weather File Formats."
Note that SAM requires a weather file with one year of data starting on January 1 and ending on December 31.
