DC vs Gross DC vs Nominal DC

The point of the Pysam project was to consider cases with more than the 4 maximum subarrays that SAM allows. Several SAM tabs are run to calculate the DC output of the various pieces in groups of 3 -4 subarrays, then they're combined before being fed to an inverter. I was worried issues might arise from the inverter selection because the tab was only part of the overall system, so I wanted to look at the DC output without inverter influence.
