Report Template Editor?

I see from the online help file that the Report Template Editor is not compatible with this version of SAM? Is it possible to edit the templates and/or create new templates manually? How do we go about customizing the reports?

SAM's reports are not customizable because creating or modifying a report template requires knowledge of a scripting language and of SAM's internal variable names that we do not expect most people to have.

If there is something you would like us to add to a report, please let me know, and we will consider modifying the template.

By the way, there is an error in the PVWatts report template that we've temporarily addressed as described in this forum thread:

Is there a way to add the clients name and address to the SAM Reports?

Hello,

No. For now, the reports are not customizable, so you cannot add information to the reports. You might consider writing your own report with the additional information, and including the SAM report in an appendix.
