TIme Step of weather data was created by Gabriel Simões
I would like to know if SAM can read files with time step =1 minute. If yes, how?

Hi Gabriel,
Yes. The time step of the weather file determines the simulation time step. If you provide SAM with a weather file that contains one-minute data, it will run one-minute simulations. See the Help system for more details. For example, topics for solar resource data are:
samrepo.nrelcloud.org/help/weather_format_sam_csv_solar.htm
samrepo.nrelcloud.org/help/weather_time_convention.htm
Best regards,
Paul.

What I mean was if it is possible to run a less than one year-simulation, for example a month-simulation.
I've found a similar question on this forum, but it's from 2013, so I would like to know if the last version of SAM can read and run a month-simulation.

Hi Gabriel,
The discussion in the forum topic you mention is still valid.
SAM requires a weather file with one year of data. If you are interested in a single month or day, you can focus on that month or day.
Some of SAM's performance models support a single time step simulation, but only if you access them via the SAM SDK or PySAM: sam.nrel.gov/software-development-kit-sdk.html .
Best regards,
Paul.

Thks Paul.
I've downloaded github patch for SAM, the one with LK scripts for SAM, but I didn't find any model that forces a simulation with a weather file under one year data. Am i on the right patch? There is any other patch which would help?
