When you type the latitude and longitude values to download the weather file, please do not include degree symbols, and do not put a space before or after the comma separating the two values.
Regarding AzimuthsampletoSAMsupport.sam:
The latitude and longitude in the weather file is 42.37,-84.7, so this is for a location in the northern hemisphere at latitude = 42.37 with more solar radiation in May - Aug than the rest of the year due to the longer days.
It looks like you requested a file for -16.67,-49.26 but received a file for 42.37,-84.7. Please try downloading the file again omitting the degree symbol and spaces.
I´ve done that, and revised some other simulations done on SAM.
Although coordinates were double checked with no degree symbols or space, the results are the same, showing energy production data
along the year as if I were calculating a site in the north hemisphere.
These latest results look different from the ones you posted before, and seem reasonable for a southern hemisphere location, with the peak output in Oct-Mar and lower output in Apr-Aug.
Please attach the image as a file (.png, .jpg, etc.) and then insert it into your message. Copying and pasting images into the post does not always work well.
To export an image of the graph from SAM, right-click it and choose one of the "Export" options.
