Problem to lunch the application version 2018 was created by sheeraz19
Dear Paul,
I had installed the SAM software in Windows, but when I try to open it, an error message appears immediately. I tried to resolve by reinstalling SAM latest version 2018 as well as previous version 2017 also but there are no changes, the same error appears. The error message is: 'the application could not be started correctly (0xc000007b). Click on OK to close it'. Initially there were errors like missing .DLL files which I downloaded from the internet and placed in the requisite folder, after doing that process, the last but probably not final error I faced is the aforementioned one: 0xc000007b.
Kindly, help me out with the issue as i have an urgent project to complete.
Thank you

Hi Sheeraz,
SAM 2018.11.11 for Windows requires Windows 7 or higher.
Here is some information from windows about that error that might be helpful:

Dear Paul,
Thank you for the response, however, I followed all the instructions listed on Microsoft website link you provided above but all in vain. The windows I am using is windows 8, and I also tried to run the setup file in compatibility mode as one of the suggestions in the link above stated that the application might be incompatible, but again, the same error: 0xc000007b. The suggestions at the Microsoft link finally stated that contact your app developer for solution.
Regards,
Sheeraz
