Hello,

First, please make sure you are using the latest version of SAM, which is SAM 2017.9.5 r4. You can download the latest version from the Download page:

sam.nrel.gov/download

If you are using the latest version, then please see this article on the Microsoft Community website with instructions for installing the Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015, and links to other articles about how to fix this problem:
