When trying to open up my project file, I get the following error message "SAM Error - Can't read inflate stream:unexpected EOF in underlying stream"

What does one do to fix this. See attached screenshot.

Please help!

Thanks,

Daniel

Hi Daniel,

Do you get that error when you open any .sam file or just one particular file?

Would you mind attaching an example of a file that results in that error?

Thanks,
Paul.

Dear Mr Gilman

I am encountering the same error when I try to open my .sam file. This only occurs for a particular file though.

Any advice on how to resolve this error will be greatly appreciated. Should I attach the file that is causing the error?

Kind regards
Louw

Dear Louw,

Yes, please do attach a copy of the file, and, if you don't mind, please let me know what operating system you are using.

Best regards,
Paul.

Hi Louw,

SAM 2020.2.29 runs on Windows 10 or 8. The most recent version that runs on Windows 7 is SAM 2018.11.11.

You can download legacy versions of SAM on the Download page:

sam.nrel.gov/download

Best regards,
Paul.
