Hybrid CSP+PV generation

SAM does not model hybrid PV / CSP power systems, so it is not possible to model a hybrid system that automatically dispatches power from a CSP system in response to the output of a PV system.

You can use the "Generate production profiles and nameplate capacity from open cases" option on the Generic System model's Power Plant input page to combine the output of two or more cases in a SAM file. See this demonstration video on the SAM YouTube channel:
