Hitec HTF Material Properties was created by pietrop
Dear Paul,

I am using another software to simulate my whole process using impoting SAM's output and I need Hitec's HTF Material Properties Table that is saved in SAM.
Is there a way that I can access the HTF Properties library that SAM uses?
Specifically in order to define the fluid in the order software I need a table with these following properties as a function of the imposed Temperature:
Temperature, Density, Specific Heat, Thermal Conductivity, Dynamic Viscosity and Vapor Pressure

Could you please help me obtain this data?

Thank you.

Best regards,

Dear Timo,

Thank you very much for the valuable data!

Most of the properties I need were in that file. The only data left is vapor pressure in the corresponding 21 points.
I know that Hitec HTS has a vapor pressure as low as 50 psig at 288°F(it's freezing point) it should increase with temperature at a real slow rate but I would like to quantify this rate in way that the inserted data is plausible.
Do you have this information or know anyone I can talk to at Coastal Chemical LLC that could give me this information?

Best regards,
Pietro Pecorari
