SAM Web Update crashing was created by soular

When I launch SAM (OSX, v. 2015-06-30), the SAM Web Update application launches, telling me that Revision 2 (8/10/15) is available for download. When I click Update, it tells me to make sure to quit SAM, and then starts downloading (screenshot attached), but crashes without finishing the download. In the crash log, the following text appears:

Crashed Thread: 0 Dispatch queue: com.apple.main-thread
Exception Type: EXC_BAD_ACCESS (SIGSEGV)
Exception Codes: KERN_PROTECTION_FAILURE at 0x00007fff5e8c2ff8

Is there a way to download the update directly from the web rather than using webupd?

Hello,
You can update SAM by downloading a new installation file from the Download page and reinstalling the software.

Thanks Paul. I hadn't read the download page carefully enough to see that the file available there was the revision 2 update.
