CEC Inverter Database was created by pgilman
There are two options for seeing the CEC inverter database parameters:
In SAM, you can use a text editor to open the .samlib file that stores the library parameters in SAM. The file is called SandiaInverters.samlib, and is in the SAM libraries folder ...\exelib\libraries, which is in the SAM installation folder (c:\SAM\2011.12.2 for the Windows version of SAM 2011.12.2).
Another option is the set of inverter test summaries that the CEC provides on the Go Solar California website. The data are provided in a separate PDF file for each inverter at:
www.gosolarcalifornia.org/equipment/inverter_tests/summaries/
Best regards,
Paul.

Thank you very much for this post. People who may be interested in having the database in a more practical xls format (one column for each property) can contact me (not sure I can upload this file on this website)

Please feel free to upload the file as an attachment to this discussion thread.
One of the items on our development To Do list is to improve the library editor so that it can export libraries as tables.
Best regards,
Paul.

That's a good point -- The Library Editor's "Save as CSV" option saves the data in any of the SAM libraries to a text file with comma-separated data columns. That option is also available in SAM 2011.12.2.

Paul.

so the CEC inverters are inside the Sandia Inverters database? I thought Sandia had it's own database separate from CECs.
