How to add new location downloaded in the web link that appear in the SAM climate window

Hi all, sorry if my english is not perfect, but I am from Spain and it is not my native languague.

I have already downloaded the records form the web link for Ciudad Real (Spain). The records are downloaded as ZIP and I could extract them as records tipe DDY, EPW and STAT, which I supose SAM will recognize them. But when I go to the add/remove bottom and search for them , or SAM doesn´t recognize it or I am doing something wrong. What I am curious about is that SAM looks for foldiers not for records, so I tried to put the records in a foldier but that doesn´t work either. How could I do it?

Another thing is if there is anywhere (WEBSITES) I could find this same information about more detailed areas inside the regions from the web links. For example inside Ciudad Real, Alcazar de San Juan, or places near.

The weather data in the EnergyPlus weather files is in the EPW format. To use the data with SAM, add the .epw file to your SAM weather file folder. You can read more about downloading and using EPW files in SAM's help system.

Thank you Paul, I been able to to add the file to SAM climate weather foldier. I also visited the link you posted for NON-US weather data. Inside that file there where 3 other links:

Weather Analytics
SolarGIS
Meteonorm

But none of them provides free wheather data for Alcazar de San Juan, Ciudad Real. is there any other page that provides that information for free? Thank you a lot.
