Multi Year Energy Simulation within PySAM/HOPP was created by Arthur800
Hello, I've understood that that the System Advisor Model framework is not designed to work with lifetime simulations using multi year files (for example, a sequence of PSM .csv files spanning over a lifetime). However, I am working with hybrid simulations including storage systems on HOPP, and I would like to know about any workarounds that could be used to do such a kind of simulations, for I must not use typical year files. I thought about setting a loop of a 1-year-lifetime simulation for each, say, PSM file. However, I'm concerned with how one colud save the storage state variables from one simulation to the next year's simulation.

Hi Arthur,
I can't think of a perfect workaround for this.
We are considering making changes to SAM to allow for running a simulation over a set of weather files, but don't have definite plans for that work at the moment.
Best regards,
Paul
