Hi Paul,
Is gen or system power generated (kW) the hourly AC power generated by the system?
I just wanted to confirm this as I am trying to validate some real-world data for some different installations by creating a PySAM model.
And, I have 5 minute intervals of avg AC power for the system which I have converted into hourly values for an entire year.
So, I just wanted to confirm whether I am be validating the results by comparing the correct value.
Thanks a lot,
Ajinkya

Hi Ajinkya,
The 'gen' output variable is the AC power delivered to the grid (and/or load for behind-the-meter systems). It should reflect all losses and grid limits you include in your analysis.
Best regards,
Paul.
