Hi Dan,

The NSRDB API is set up to download weather data as either a CSV or JSON file. Maybe you can modify the function to do what you want. I see some discussion on this topic on the web, such as this one from stackoverflow.com: stackoverflow.com/questions/22340265/python-download-file-using-requests-directly-to-memory.
