Meteo with Precipitable Water was created by UGuntupalliRWE
Can anyone please share an example of how to convert a custom meteo file into SAM csv format ? Additionally, what is the tag or column name expected for Precipitable Water in SAM Format? Looking at the attached help file, I don't see how to include precipitable water with a custom meteo data set into SAM. Any help w/adviceould be appreciated.
Thanks

Hi Uday,
You should be able to convert your data using the description in Help and using a weather file that you download from the NREL NSRDB or one of the sample weather files in the solar_resource folder of your SAM installation.
None of SAM's performance models use precipitable water data, so it does not have a column name in the SAM CSV format description. If you want, you can include the data in your file with any column name. SAM ignores any data in the file that it does not need.
Best regards,
Paul.
