Levelized COE was created by JamesHK
Hello, I would like to know how to get LCOE in python. I would like to use ssc.data_get_number(data, b'XXX') command and wonder what could be 'XXX' to get levelized COE.
Also, if possible I would like to know what are the differences between nominal and real LCOE that are defined in SAM.
Thank you.

Hi James,
The SSC variable names for LCOE are:
lcoe_nom
lcoe_real
Please see my reply to your other post for instructions on how to find those variable names in the SAM user interface.
For a description of the difference between real and nominal LCOE, please see either the SAM Help system topic "Financial Metrics, Levelized cost," or Short et al. (1995) referenced on the SAM website financial models page .
Best regards,
Paul.
