Difference between cec_area and spe_area ? was created by KillianPremel
Hello everyone,
I am new to SDK and I don't understand the difference between cec_area and spe_area. Both have the label "module area" but the values are not the same.
Best regards,
Killian Premel

Hi Killian,
The "cec" and "spe" prefixes indicate the module model option. The 6-parameter single diode model is called "CEC" and the single-point efficiency model is called "SPE". You only need to set the value of (or read values from) variables that you are using. If you are using the CEC module model in your simulations, then the "cec" variables apply, and the "spe" variables do not apply.
Best regards,
Paul.
