Trouble getting model inputs for CSP was created by edwardsun20
Hello NREL,

We tried to look at NREL API example code online for PV systems, and saw that there were only a few inputs that we need to feed the model. We tried running Python code for CSP power tower and power troughs, however, and found that we needed significantly more inputs to our system. Is it necessary for the CSP models to have so many more inputs, and if so, where could we find these values? Are there any notable researchers who have ran this model for solar thermal in the past?

Thanks!!

Dear Edward,
You can use SAM's code generator to create code in Python or any of the other languages supported by the SDK.

Best regards,

Paul.
