Check SAM dll version was created by john.baldo@pvcomplete.com
Is there a way to figure out which version of SAM you're using if you only have the dll? Either from the SDK tool or from the file directly?

Yes.

Please see Chapter 5 "Version Information" in the SSC guide that comes with the SDK. The functions for returning SSC version information are ssc_version() and ssc_build_info().

We've also updated the release notes to include the SSC version number with each SAM version to help keep track of the different version numbers.
