Dear Valeria,

Yes, you can model a linear Fresnel plant with an oil as the heat transfer fluid. To do so, choose an oil for the fluid HTF on the Solar Field page, and adjust the other parameters as appropriate.

Best regards,
Paul.

Hello! thanks for you answer! So I should select Fresnel with salt and then use oil?

Thanks Paul!

Best regards

Dear Valeria,

Yes. The choose the "molten salt" linear Fresnel model to model a system that uses either a salt or oil as the heat transfer material.

Best regards,
Paul.
