We are working with SAM to download hourly solar profiles for different locations. We want to automate the data generation across multiple sites in the model. Is there a way for us to automate data generation across multiple sites so we do not have to pull data for each site individually?
No. As ismentioned on the
Solar Prospector website
, the Solar Prospector solar resource data was derived from SolarAnywhere data from Clean Power Research.
NREL's agreement with Clean Power Research does not allow us to provide automated access to the data via SAM, aside from the download button, which allows you to download files for one location at a time.
For weather files that are already on your computer, you can use an LK script automate simulations.
