Should azimuth use magnetic value, or true azimuth? was created by lnbeauch
I am modeling flat plate PV arrays. I have two azimuth values, magnetic and true. Does SAM have an automatic correction for azimuth, to correct for magnetic declination based on my project location? Or, should I input the corrected ("true") azimuth value directly to the model?
Thank you.

SAM's photovoltaic models expect the true azimuth value: An azimuth value of zero would be for an array facing true north (I mean "facing" with the assumption that the array is not horizontal).
