How to replace thermal energy storage models in SAM

Dear Paul,

Currently, I am developing some new TES systems in MATLAB including phase change material TESs.


SAM has only two options for storage: Thermocline and 2-tank systems. However, I would like to have more storage alternatives.

I was wondering if there is a way to integrate my models in MATLAB with SAM? Please advise me about any possible options to address the foregoing issue.

It is not possible to modify or replace component models in SAM.
