In parabolic trough system modelling SAM allows you to see the number of loops, size of each assembly and assemblies per loop. This allows you to get an idea of how the plant can be laid out on a given piece of land. Is this possible with the linear Fresnel modelling as well? I don't seem to see how to do it.

Hello,
On the Collector and Receiver page for the linear Fresnel model, the length of collector module and reflective aperture area give you an idea of the dimensions of the field. The number of modules inputs for the boiler and superheater sections should also help.
The two documents listed as references on the Performance Models page under "Linear Fresnel" may also be helpful.
Best regards,
Paul.
