Linear Fresnel Receiver costs was created by Pablo Vicente Sánchez
Hello,
I'm working on a project related to the design of the receiver of a Linear Fresnel System. I was adviced to use SAM in order to get an aproximated value of the costs of the receiver but I'm new at using the program. As I have seen, it only allows to calculate the costs of the whole plant, and I don't have the required data for that.
Is there any way of calculating only the costs of the receiver?
In case ther is not, does anyone know any other program or website where I could get an estimation?
Thank You

Dear Pablo,
In SAM, the installation and operating costs are inputs to the model, so it is up to you to do your own research to find reasonable cost estimates for your analysis. For very preliminary analyses before you have done that research, you can use the default cost values on the System Costs page to get a rough sense of what the project will cost.
For more information about system costs in SAM, see the System Cost Data page on the SAM website .
Best regards,
Paul.
