How do I run an excel spreadsheet report of the hourly output by month for year 1? This is for flat plate PV. Thanks.

Hello,
It is not possible to export hourly data from SAM in an hour-by-month format. However, you can export the data as an 8,760 column of hourly values, and then covert the data into the hour-by-month table in Excel or another spreadsheet program. If you have some programming or scripting experience, you could write a SamUL script to the conversion for you.
Can you desribe more specifically what values you would like to see in the table? For example, what specific variable, and how would you want the values converted to values by month (total, average, etc.)?
There are a couple of ways to export the hourly data: Either display the output variables you want to export in the Hourly table on the Results page and then click "Send to Excel" or "Save as CSV," or display the hourly data in a time series graph, right-click the graph, and choose an option from the shortcut menu. For more detailed instructions, see the Getting Started section of SAM's Help system:

Best regards,
Paul.
