Solar PV Array daily production report was created by NortonDave
Is it possible to generate a spreadsheet report that would reflect the daily production of a PV solar array? I see the monthly and annual and I believe even hourly, but wanted to see the daily production differences in the different months and I cannot see any path to accomplish this.
Thanks to anyone who can help!

Dear Dave,
SAM does not calculate daily values. However, there are two ways you can generate the values.
The first is not exactly what you are asking for, but might be useful, so I will mention it. You can generate exportable graphs of daily 24-hour profiles values by month. On the Results page:
The second way is to write a SamUL script to calculate the daily values from the hourly results. To save you some trouble, I wrote an example of how to do that and write the results to a CSV formatted text file that you can open in your favorite spreadsheet program. Download and save the file, then open it, go to the Script 1 tab, and click Run script to see how it works. Feel free to use and modify the script. Best regards,
Paul.

Click Time Series.
Click Monthly Profile.
Choose a variable (Hourly Energy is the system electrical output).
Right-click each graph to export the data to your clipboard and paste it to Excel.
