Commercial PPA no Utility Rate/Electric Load

HI
Commercial PPA option under PV Watts has no Utility Rate nor Electric Load.
The other Commercial option does however.

I am running the latest version on latest Mac OS

Hi Ben,

That is by design.

Unlike the Residential and Commercial financial models, the Commercial PPA financial model is not a distributed energy model. It is similar to the Utility IPP financial model, and is for projects that sell all of the power they generate at a power price negotiated through a power purchase agreement. The power price is not a retail price (or set of prices) determined by a utility rate sheet. Instead, it is either an input that you specify on the Financing page, or a value that SAM calculates based on a target internal rate of return that you specify. Because the project sells all of the electricity generated by the renewable energy system, SAM does not require information about a building load.
