Fresnel with molten salt support

Hi there,

I am doing my final project on the prospective use of solar technology for desalination purposes, and I was wondering if fresnel supported with molten salts will be available soon, as uniterrupted supply is needed and I believe this technology has a lot to offer. I would also be interested in studing the prospective use of photovoltaics supported with batteries for reverse osmosis aplications, are there any updates comming on this subject in the near future?

NREL is developing and testing a molten salt linear Fresnel model, which we hope to include in the next version of SAM.

For now, we do not have an electric storage battery model for SAM, and do not have plans to add one yet.
