Unable to simulate was created by abhi749gaur
Dear All,
I am stimulating 50MWe (nameplate)Parabolic trough system(physical) by fixing solar field aperture area as 510120 metr square.
When I changed storage hours to ZERO, with all other parameters default and unchanged, my simulation is not running.
However, i am getting results for 100 and 120 MW system with ZERO storage
Also i am getting results for 50MW system with 6 hours storage.
Please do suggest the reason, weather file is attatched.
Thanks & Regards.
Abhishek Gaur

Dear Abhishek Gaur,
It is difficult to know what is causing the problem without seeing your file. You may want to try using the solar mutiple option instead of fixing the aperture area to see what SAM calculates the solar field size to be for your 50 MW power block, just to make sure that the size you specified is reasonable.
Best regards,
Paul.
