Can i use this program for australian projects. i downloaded the program and i can not find where to click for more options for weather data, also i did a search for hanover solar panels HS250M and it did not work, then i typed in Perlight 250W and it only showed me 350W panels. Jinko is on there, but we are not supplying that panels. Can you please help, due to my client needs this documentation as soon as possible.
Yes, you can use SAM for Australian projects.
You can find information about finding weather data for locations outside of the U.S. in SAM's Help system (click the Help menu in SAM):

As for the modules, we rely on the California Energy Commission and Sandia National Laboratories to provide us with parameters for the modules. For modules that are not in either of those parameter libraries, you can always use the
CEC Performance Model with User Entered Specifications
, which allows you to model a module using parameters from the manufacturer's data sheet.
