SI Metrics and Currency

Is it possible to use international metric system in SAM? - Is it possible to change the currency (for example from US$ to another national currency)?

It is not possible to change the units in SAM. We've tried to label the units for inputs and results to make it clear what units SAM expects. In most cases, we use SI units, but some values are in U.S. units.

All currency amounts in SAM are in dollars. You could use a different currency, but if you do, be careful to go through all of the inputs and convert all of the values to the new currency. Because there are many inputs on the different input pages, it would be easy to miss some values, so I would recommend converting your currency values to dollars instead.
It is not possible to change the currency symbol from dollars to another currency's symbol.
