When we talk about a system requirement of say 100kW, does that mean 100kW AC or DC ? This is in regard to the PV input on the SAM PV Watts model.
For SAM's photovoltaic models, including PVWatts, the system capacity in kW is a DC value based on the photovoltaic array's nameplate capacity at Standard Test Conditions (STC).
