SAM.zsam and corresponding excel spreadsheet files for power tower thermocline thermal storage

Dear Paul,

I am working on economic analysis of solar thermal storage project. I would like to use SAM thermocline thermal storage as a benchmark as my research. I cannot find these files in the website of sam.nrel.gov/cost .

Could you advise me how I can get them?

Dear Susan,
SAM's molten salt power tower model includes a thermocline model for the thermal energy storage system. The thermocline option is not available for the other CSP models. As far as I know, the baseline systems described in the documents on the System Cost Data  page do not use thermocline storage.
