Weather files and required columns to model each generator type was created by williampaulbell
Hello Paul
Could you point me in the right direction for the following information please?
What are the required columns in a weather file to model each type of generator?
Specifically, I am modelling the Fresnel lens generator using a TMY3 weather file.
Is DHI unnecessary? (Both GHI and DNI are readily available but DHI is unavailable.)
Regards
William Bell

Hi William,
The table in the "Weather Data Overview" topic of SAM's Help system lists the different performance models and the weather data each uses. Here is a link to the copy we've put on the SAM website:
Weather Data Overview
Best regards,
Paul.
