Power Tower Cost Estimates

I am using SAM software to characterize costs of specific CSP components. Can you tell me where you got your estimates for how much the tower in a Concentrated Solar Power plant costs?

You can find references for the documents we used to choose SAM's default cost values for each technology on the System Costs page.

The default values in SAM are intended to be a starting point as you learn to use SAM, not as a source of information about current costs.
