When is the next update coming?

What is the anticipated release date for the next update? Specifically I'm looking for an updated components database. A number of released PV inverters are not in the current version. If the component database is available separately I'd also be interested in how to download that. Thanks.

Hi Alex,

We are working on the Beta version of the next release now and expect it to be available sometime this month. The next release will be later this summer or early fall.

For the new version, we hope to make updates to the component databases available through an improved update tool in SAM so you won't have to wait for new versions to get updated databases.
