Working on a Photvoltaic project Flatplate Commercial

I searched for the rates under the "Utility Rate" tab - Description TOU-8-A (2kv) SCE tariff. The source (web address for tariff) listed was accurate (it even contained latest filing as of 5/31/2013). The SAM model filled in the energy rates (Buy $/kwh) for the 5 periods but the rated were not even close to what is in the tariff. For example, it had the peak energy rate (on-peak summer) as $.44/kwh whereas the tariff has it as $.129/kwh (distribution charges +energy component)
I can be reached at 203-9893073 for any discussion

Hello,

SAM downloads utility rate data from the NREL OpenEI utility rate database . The database may have errors or out-of-date data. If you create an account on the OpenEI website, you can correct errors that you find by editing the database.

In general, when you use one of the data download features in SAM (utility rates, incentives, weather data, etc.), we recommend that you review the data you downloaded to make sure it is correct, and make any changes necessary to correct errors in SAM. We provide the download features as a convenience, but do not have control over the accuracy of the data in the databases that SAM communicates with.

Best regards,
Paul.
