PV Generation Discrepency was created by Miskat
I designed a PV power Plant where where ac nameplate capacity 448 MW but i am only getting 340 MW max. is it normal?

Hi Miskat,
A well-designed PV system should operate at close to its nameplate capacity at least some hours of the year.
There are several things that could cause the maximum output to be less than the nameplate capacity. Here are a couple of examples:

There are several things that could cause the maximum output to be less than the nameplate capacity. Here are a couple of examples:
- Comparing AC output to DC nameplate capacity. Be sure you are either comparing array DC output to the array DC capacity, or inverter AC output to the inverter AC capacity.
- Array azimuth or tilt angle is not optimal.
- Excessive losses: You can use the diagram on the Losses tab of the Results page to quickly find potential design problems such as undersized inverter, to many modules per string causing MPPT voltage clipping, soiling or shading losses, etc.
