Pump power cost

I wanted to ask in CSP Physical trough model, does SAM consider pump electricity cost in annual energy value?

Hi Aryan,

SAM treats pumping power and other parasitic losses for concentraing solar power (CSP) models as a reduction in the system's electrical output power.

During times when the system is not generating power, the cost of this power is determined by the price defined on the Electricity Purchases page.
