Any chance this forum site can get some love (updates)? was created by MJ
Hi,
This site is kinda hurting (i.e. it's frankly old and rather busted)... Any chance it can get some love? For example:
1. New user registration email message starts with "Hello %s, Thank you for registering on the SAM website."
2. Search is broken
3. User guides are out of date
4. Feels a bit like a dumping ground with not a whole lot of structure... badly needs a professional web designer to take a pass at it.
5. It just feels... kinda early 2000s in general.
I wanna love NREL, so asking constructively... Perhaps move this site to a better, modern hosted forum platform or some polished support solution?
Otherwise, thanks for the tools!

Hi MJ,
Thanks for the feedback. We agree the SAM website could use improvement, but are using our resources to maintain and update the SAM software and PySAM python package. Hopefully the website is functional enough to be useful until we have an opportunity to update it.
Best regards,
Paul.
