Error When Inputting Address Into 3D Shading Scene was created by Chad G.
Hi,
I'm trying to work on adding the shading to my system but when I put in my address to get the map image I get these errors in sequence:
1. Time Zone API Error!
InvalidKey
2. Geocode error!
Time zone API call failed. Please set time zone value manually.
3. Static Map Error!
The provided key was incorrect or the account resource does not exist.
4. Static map image download failed. Please try creating a map image outside of SAM and importing it by clicking the Load Image button.
I tried adding my time zone in before putting the address but still get the same errors.
Any thoughts on what I'm doing wrong?
Thanks!

Hi Chad,
The web service that the 3D shade calculator uses to download map images recently stopped working. If you want to use a map image as an underlay for the 3D shade scene, you can create one using a web map like Google Maps, Bing Maps, Mapquest, etc and then import it into the 3D shade calculator. For instructions see "Load an image from another source" in the 3D shade calculator Help: samrepo.nrelcloud.org/help/3dshad-underlay.html .
Best regards,
Paul.
