Problem Downloading Weather files

As of July 10, 2025, there is a problem with the web service SAM uses to download time zone data when you try to download a weather file using a street address or location name. The workaround solution to this problem for now is to use a latitude/longitude pair to download weather files.  One way to find the latitude/longitude for a location is with Google Maps: You can right-click a location on the map, and click the latitude/longitude values to save them to your clipboard, and then paste them into SAM:
